Out of Love for Our Country I Make This Plee
I am not someone who is known in any circle, I am not someone who is in the media, I am not someone who hosts a youtube channel.
What I am, is someone who deeply loves their country, who grieves over the devastation we have been subjected to that had the support of some powerful people in our government.
What I am, is someone who believes that this country is in serious trouble if WE the people don't come up with a solution because obviously the children that hold government positions have forgotten who they work for.
What I am here to say, is that if you love your country; if you believe that the America we used to know, where neighbors looked out for each other; where you didn't have to worry about people's fragile sensibilities and could tell a joke without fearing someone is going to report you for hate speech, harassment, or "digital" sexual assault; then hear my plee.
Its is not all about looking backwards because there are some bad things that happened then too. Looking forward we need people willing to have open discussions with people from ANY party, race, affiliation, sex, or religion without letting emotions run the conversation. We need to be able to live in diverse neighborhoods without animosity and hate.
We as a country have become so self-centered that we forgot how to talk to people. When was the last time you were able to let your kids play outside without worrying about something happening to them? When was the last time you checked in on your neighbors to see if they were doing alright? I know that right now we are dealing with the Covid, so I'm obviously not saying go spread the virus, but you can make a phone call, right?
Our country is at a tipping point and there are some who would love nothing more than to see it completely fall apart.
I call on all people, regardless of political affiliation, to do something we have not seen in this country for a while. I ask that we show the world what it means to be better than self!
I emplore everyone to stay home, do not find yourself anywhere near any governmental buildings, do not stupe to the level that we have been seeing over the last year.
The inauguration is going to happen whether we like it or not, whether it was legally won or not and that is just the way things are.
See, the difference between people who LOVE their country and those who seek to control it, is that while we may not be happy, we RESPECT the office of the President of the United States. We might not think highly of the holder, but it's the office we respect not the man.
The only way to create change is to not just complain about an issue like a bunch of spoiled toddlers who lost their binkies, but to come to the table with solutions to those issues.
We are strong, we stand by our convictions, we do not waiver, and we do not jump on the newest bandwagon just because it is what is trending that day.
I ask all of my beloved brothers and sisters who love this beautiful nation like I do, all who truly want to find a way to create unity where we see intentionally created division, I ask you to show the world what it really means to be an American (I am including those who immigrated here legally...because unlike those born here, you made a conscious choice to come to America seeking a better life for you and your family).
Instead instead of following the lead of what we have been shown all summer long, that "mostly peacefully" protesting with nightly "bonfires" is the answer, we need to show the world that we are not savages!!!
We need to stay home, stay safe, stay away from State and Federal government buildings, we need to not give them a reason to speak hateful words about the 75 million strong, and instead work on creating a list of solutions that will be beneficial to bring our country back together. This country was founded on and by We The People. And we the people have a responsibility for where our country is right now because of WHO we elect to represent us in the government.
One of the best things we can do to bring change is to change the people in congress who are there for their own selfish reasons and who are not there for the betterment of the people they represent. Congressional members that are not able to put their own pettiness aside to respect the office of the president should not be allowed to remain because what they represent is not what America represents.
I have no fear saying I think creepy Joe Biden is a corrupt, abusive, heartless, puppet of a man who doesn't deserve to sit in the chair of the highest office this country possesses. But, now that he is, I have no problem admitting that I will give him the respect the office has afforded him, whether he got it legally or illegally, he still has it.
So, again...to all those who love this country and believe that America can be the greatest place in the world again...remember what we saw over the summer, the hipocracy that we just saw at the beginning of the month. This is our time to show the country what bigger than self means and what we expect from those in power by standing strong in our convictions, by staying home until after the inauguration is over, and by coming up with solutions to our problems instead of just whining about our complaints, we will be able to turn this nightmare around and get our country back on track to being the greatest place in the world again.
